I just finished 21 straight days of teaching at my first 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training (YTT). It was a priceless experience from a teacher’s perspective, and I believe from the student’s as well.
For many years, I coached at SEALFIT events and I was always drawn there for the transformative aspects of the program, helping to strip down layers and facades and rebuild people to honor their true selves and to live their inner strength.
I found the same attraction in teaching meditation, anatomy and other aspects of yoga at this training. I’m grateful to have had the chance to work alongside my dear friend Tara South
, helping the students as a guide through the intense process of reflection, breakdown, and growth that occurs when people invest in themselves and look within, in a way that yoga so deeply offers.
And while an intensive 3 weeks of yoga practice and learning does wonders for most people, even a few minutes a day of deep breathing, quiet reflection and focused movement can make a major impact on your inner stillness.
