I’m continuing to train hard for our charity Swim-Ruck event in
Normandy, and endured some very COLD training days in Switzerland in March. On the flip side, I also got a chance to swim in warm sea water and practice yoga on a hot day in the mountains in Oman, which made March a great yin-yang month weather-wise. I’ve got a couple more weeks of chilly training in Zurich, and then I’ll be in a warm climate again, as I’m teaching a month-long Yoga Teacher Training in Thailand this spring.
On the coaching and writing side, I’m getting excited about the
May 16th launch of
Hill Running: Survive & Thrive! These book projects are always full of ups and downs (figuratively, and for the hill running book, literally as well!). We’re finalizing the layout now and ordering from the printer within a week. As a self-published author, that’s always a little frightening … ordering hundreds of books, paying for the printing, and hoping the final product shows up printed correctly and looking good!
Last recent thing to mention: I challenged myself to learn two new musical instruments in March: the Indian Shruti Box and the Native American Flute. Both are very special instruments from their respective cultures and it has been a joy to dive into them!
