Coach Jeff Grant's Digest #20

December 28 · Issue #20 · View online

My digest is a collection of inspirational and instructional resources I find interesting and wish to share, including my latest content. To save you time, I pen a quick preview & highlight the key parts to check out.

A quick update for you here at year-end to wish you the very best as 2017 wraps up and 2018 begins!
Before you scan the articles in this edition, I’d like to ask you to make a quick self-reflection with these 3 questions:
What was your most beautiful moment in nature this year?
Your happiest moment with others?
Your most serene moment alone?

Just see each in your mind for a moment, and if you wish, note them down.
I hope it has been a fulfilling year for you, full of the highs and lows of life, allowing you to enjoy the good times and build resilience and strength in the hard times. In 2018, I wish you a wealth of positive moments with others, with yourself, in sports and fitness, and in nature!
Now, on to the digest –> 3 articles selected for your reflection as one year ends and another begins!

Personal Update
I’m having a great time getting out of my comfort zone with COLD swims in Lake Zurich, as I train for the Epic Charity Challenge in Normandy on D-Day 2018. January will be a new level of discomfort, as the temps continue their dive into deep winter. I can’t wait!
My Run Faster book will launch on SEALGrinderPT in early January, to be followed a few weeks later with the release of my Hill Running Guide. Lots of new writing projects are on tap for 2018 – it’s going to be a fun year of penning shorter coaching books, my first Kids book, and my first fiction book. I’m looking for guest readers, so please let me know if you’d like to have an early look at any of these projects, and I’ll place you on a list to share drafts with once ready.
Lastly, we ran a design contest for new Hillseeker shirts in December. We were super excited with the results. Check it out here.
Have a Happy New Year!
